Vision |
Executive Board
Strength through united action, guided
by intelligence, is the hallmark of trade union organizations. Believing
such unity essential for the mutual protection and advancement of
the interests and general welfare of the Diplomatic Security Officers
of the U.S. Department of State and other agencies.
The
objectives shall be:
-
To organize all government
security/law enforcement officers, who qualify for membership
in the union under the guidelines set forth in the union’s
Constitution and By-Laws;

To be an instrument of change; supporting those
elements that are a driving force in the implementation and
execution of Standards, Policies, and Procedures and training
opportunities which will not only ensure the safety of our membership,
but will be conducive to career development.

To secure just compensation for their services
and equitable settlement of their grievances;

To promote the establishment of just and reasonable
working conditions;

To place the members of this union on a higher
plane of skill and efficiency;

To promote harmonious relations between the
government security officers and their employers;
-
And to cultivate friendship and fellowship
among its members.

To provide laws for the government of this
union we adopt this Constitution and By-Laws, which shall govern
the officers, subordinate bodies and members of this union in
the exercise of their rights and discharge of their duties and
obligations in accordance with the high standards of responsibility
and conduct herein set forth.
